Utah!

so... what they're saying is... you can have 7 full size chickens... and a Serama... anyone else read it that way? lol!!!!

Heehee! The ordinance says for every 1600 square feet of lot size you can have one fowl. Mine calculated to have the .35, I figure I'll hold it in reserve and ignore the accepted rules of rounding!

I have about 20, 8 to 10 week old chicks for sale all girls they will start laying feb, march. speckled Sussex and austrlorpes, rode reds, buff orpingtons $12 each very friendly and you wont have to wait 5 months to get eggs

Oh, I wish we had our coop done ( or even started)! I would love that. You have several breeds I want, and that would be ideal since I can't have Roos, and they're definitely hens. How often do you have them available?

Thanks for the warm welcome and shared wisdom.

Merry Christmas to me! Another present for me. My RSL started gave me her first egg today. Saw Buddy breeding her yesterday and thought she should be laying soon because she squat for him. Small egg, but will get bigger soon enough!

Hey all. What are the chances of getting an egg train coming all the way from Couer d'Alene, Idaho?! I have the opportunity to purchase a top show quality Speckled Sussex trio, but shipping is $160...

if anyone is looking for a good lighting option for their coop lowes has rope lighting on clearance. i got a 18 foot clear led rope lights for just over $3. there was a less bright one for cheaper too. i have rope lighting in my coop already and its been amazing but i thought i would get some more and for this price it was a no brainer.
