Neosporin (or any generic triple antibiotic ointment) WITHOUT pain relief ingredients seems to be okay for treating eye infections. The label says not to use it on people's eyes, but my mom used it a lot on us kids while we were growing up after a doctor told her to. I know Neosporin is safe for treating chicken wounds, and I'm guessing it would be safe for their eye infections, too??? I don't know about other people eye antibiotics--Some people medicines are safe to use on chickens & some are not.

Thanks I'll try that, and frankly don't know why I didn't think of it. I've had my equine vet recommended it for a pony I took in with a horrible wound to her eye. It was very hard to get it in her eye, contrary to what I thought. Betsy's smaller so I can pin her down much easier.

I hope it works! Keep us posted on how she's doing

Hi everyone! I'm in Orem and I am looking for some ducklings. Does anyone know where I could find some? Seems that by the time I see them on KSL they are already sold.

Interesting...

In Salt Lake County, A-1 zone (Agricultural) you can have up to 50 chickens.
Good luck, sounds fun!

Marty

I was wondering about that! But since the sell fell through I've not looked into it.

Hey if you are willing to buy at least 5 IFA's will order them for you. Other wise try McMurrey hatcherys online but you'll probably have to buy more.

I only need and can only have two. Does Cal Ranch carry them at all? Anyone know local breeders that may have some hatching soon that I can get a reserve on?

My brother has two adorable ducks in Springville, and neighbor is threatening to complain. (They arent legal there yet.) He has been enjoying them very much with his son. I'll ask - how do you want contact?
