I live in Hurricane now, but have lived in St George for 15 years. Where are you? I'd love to find some fertilized eggs to try out my DIY incubator, but everyone I've asked down here on craigslist doesn't have a roo..... WTH!?!?

I'm 5 minutes North of St George. I have some roosters, are you in need of one or some of my fertilized eggs? I have a friend in Washington who helps me find rare chicken breeds...next week I'm getting some Silver Sebrights from him so I could also get you some bantam chicken eggs for like a quarter each or something.

Ok, I have some baby chicks to sell..yep...babies at this time of year. I will have more..as I love to incubate, even through the winter. Here's the thing. Baby chicks right now, mean layers in the spring, or early summer.
The babies that will be ready to go soon, are black EE's. They came from some real pretty blue/green eggs. Not green/blue, but more blue. Plus, I have one Pure Black Copper Maran that was in while incubating. Mama hen is taking great care of them out doors. They hatched about a week and a half ago. I have a broody coop and run for them. So, they are getting used to the out door weather, which is great here in Spanish Fork in the day, cold at night! I have some heat in the coop at night, but noticed, they aren't wanting to be near it. They are used to the being out doors. They have cute puffy cheeks. The Marans has feathered legs not cleaned legged.
They should be ready in about a week and a half. If you have a nice place for them out doors, let me know. I am only asking $5.00 each for them.
I have more EE eggs that are going into lock down on Mon. More pretty eggs! I will be keeping them inside, as I won't have a broody hen at that time..I don't think.

Will try and get a picture of them.

Poop? For sale? I would have plenty, if I didn't clean my coop as often as I do. Hmmm, 5 bucks for poop? I guess I could save up.

yes. you put a bunch of chicken poop in a cloth bag and let it sit in water for around 3 weeks and then you can fertilize plants with the water

Cynthia12--It looks like your chicks have a chance of having all the qualities to make them true Ameraucanas???
If so, they could be extra marketable. Note: Chicks' parents don't have to necessarily meet breed requirements for their offspring to be classified as that breed, as long as their offspring manifest the required characteristics.

If you want to find extra info on that, the required characteristics for Ameraucanas are listed at http://ameraucana.org/standard.html and there is helpful info on the FAQs page, too, at http://ameraucana.org/faq.html. There is also a photo of a black Ameraucana chick at http://ameraucana.org/scrapbook_files/blacklf.jpg .
