I have to try and post a pic..Lisa..here is what my girl that laid the big egg did after a few days..there's the leghorn, then the Ameruaucana, then the big girls..which is small, right beside my bantam cochins..hope that made sense..

Red, they're all doing great, except poor, angry, picked on Hulksmash (and she's just mad at me for hobbling her). I've noticed the back corner between the long feeder and the glass is a popular napping spot for the chicks, but there's only room for one. I call it the time out corner. It's also tough to see on the webcam. Heck, I think it's all tough to see on the webcam. I'm tempted to get a better one.

I've tried feather sexing them, and I think I have 4 pullets and two cockerels. I think chick #4 (the brighter yellow w/ chipmunk stripes) and #5 (darker with brighter white chest) are the boys.

Before I would get an email (just to my reg email account that is always on my screen) everytime someone posted in this thread. Then if I was offline I could see that I needed to log on to BYC to see the new posts. Now I log off, but get no emails, then when I get on BYC there are new posts but I never was notified by email. Does not work. I checked and my email is still linked to my account, and my preferences are set to email me when there are new posts but for some reason it is not working. I just have to log on BYC to see for myself. Wonder why...

I'm trying to like the new site, but change is bad. There's certain things i don't like. For example, when I'm trying to reply, the other posts don't show up any more, so I can't easily refresh my memory.

I also noticed a sidebar of other stuff going on that I wasn't interested in, and would rather not have taking up my width.

Oh good. I kept getting worried when I could only see five chicks. That would be awesome if you end up with four pullets! It's making me wish I had chicks of some exotic breed so that I could try and trade one with you. Those GLW are so pretty, imo.

What kind of chickens do you have, Red?

My ultimate goal for this flock is to only have 1-2 GLW pullets, so I am not opposed to selling a couple of these babies. Hulksmash is my favorite though, so I couldn't get rid of her.

Plus, keep in mind that I'm having some very serious doubts that these are purebred GLW.

I'm with ya. I can not get into the Auction site..at all..did this morning, but can't now. hmmm..I'm reading that a lot of people are not happy with this new look..k, so I am going to try and post a picture again, just to see if I can now. Couldn't this morning..
Yaay, it worked..took a bit of time..Lisa..this is the picture I was trying to share earlier. My girls egg that was huge at first is the third egg. But like I said, yesterday, she is laying big again!

My BR laid a more pullet-ish size today. Pretty ones tho, they are a bit shiny too like my little bantam's. I am getting emails now, looks like they just were not quite done yet I did re-subscribe too just to be sure ! The new site is on my naughty list still. Just feels weird. Everything always does at first though when there is a change. The pictures/uploads/ posting is still kinda funky to me :/ :/ :/. At least we have our home back though, I was lost yesterday, actually got some stuff done around the house though haha

I have one each of the following: BS hen, Marans hen, white Leghorn hen, BR pullet, SLW pullet, and my EE cockerel. Hmmm, well depending on when you decide to part with some of those GLW, I might just see if I can buy one off of you. Purebred status doesn't bother me one bit, as I'm in it for the individual bird's looks and personality. I just about took an oddly patterened SLW cockerel off Cynthia's hands, just because I liked how he looked
