yep, or they stand there and have a tug of war with it when one of the others are trying to get it away from the other! lol..I just had to go in the house when I saw that one.

Wow I knew they ate them but didn't realize they caught them. SCORE! My chickens have access to my hay barn, where we have had, I swear a million, mice. Guess I don't have to worry about mice munching on their feed. yeah!

Hey everybody.

I just joined a few days ago. I've enjoyed reading the forum posts and exploring the site, and I've already learned a lot. I haven't had chickens since my boyhood days on the farm in NW Arkansas. We'll hopefully be getting a few (4 probably) hens in a couple of months. I'm looking forward to it, and my 2 and 4 year old "farmhands" can hardly wait.

Anybody here in Taylorsville? I'd like to hear about your experience with permitting, and find out how you're raising your flock in our little hamlet. I'd prefer a tractor setup that I can move around our back lawn, but it doesn't look like that's an "approved method" around here. Anybody know for sure about that?

Not me, but not only wanted to welcome you to our Utah thread, but.. to

I'm trying to think if there is anyone in your area.. You will love having chickens! I can't imagine why a moving tractor wouldn't be approved. Call your city office and ask on Mon. They will let you know right away.
