Utah!

He is incredibly sweet. He just lets his feet dangle even when kids hold him. I am at serious risk for taking my boys to a bird vet and having them caponized (under anesthetic) so I can keep them. I have also entertained the thought of hiding them in my basement, getting them hormone implants to prevent them from crowing, and making an underground rooster compound. He might be the one that puts me over the edge.

janel, cute boys! I love that second one that's just sitting in your hand.

Lisa, hahaha thanks, but I would need to get girl teenagers. I should have clarified that

She would be staying in West Valley with my mom, so I can't have a bird that would take it on himself to make sure that the neighbors are up at 5 am. Not that I don't appreciate the thought.

Lisa, Shinx, did you see that Diana sold that lavender..for $15.00? She was asking 25, came down, to 15..SOLD..ha, that has to be the first little cockerel I've ever seen go for that much. Roosters are hard to sell, but she did the ad really well.
All of my chicks have sold. I don't have chicks coming out of my ears any more. One guy was kind of ticked, I could tell. He had called yesterday, but I was on the way out the door. He wanted blue, but all I have left when he finally called back, are some blacks, and one blue, and one Silkie. He said, that's not enough! He wants a lot of chicks..lives out in the boonies..and he wanted to add blues..he is taking the rest anyway. :)
Getting windy again!

Lisa, how did you get that Golden Feather "thingy"  lol....

I got a golden feather membership! Sounds fancy huh! I figured why not, I spend my life on here these days :) Hey those silky chicks and those bbs are so dang cute it is no wonder they were selling like hotcakes. I would have snagged a few for myself had I not already loaded up on chicks when they hatched. You will have to keep us posted on how yours look as they grow up. Oh and I was going to tell you my EE boy has those same feathers coming in on his tail as your black teenager, the danglies on the ends that you posted pics of a week or so ago. Mine is croaking so I am 99 percent sure he is a he. :( Hope yours is not a boy, but when I saw those I thought uh oh!

I have another broody silkie hen now. Does one going broody encourage others to do the same? I can't believe this. They have cuddled together in the same dog cage I have set up in our coop. Right before Easter! I was really counting on them giving me cute little eggs to color!
