I would build something predator proof around her then... but quick. It would be better to lose the eggs (they aren't too far along are they?) then her and the eggs. I've moved a broody hen before and they moved just fine.
BTW, I don't know if anyone remembers...maybe it's in my pics I'll have to look but we took down my nesting boxes (one big attached unit). I was going to put it on KSL for $25 but if anyone here wants it for $10 it's theirs. A couple of the rails in front were plastic pipe and need to be replaced with wood.
We opened up the hay portion of our barn (it's dark) and the girls just love laying in there and it was just one more thing to clean so I don't need it. They don't sleep in the hay at night, they either use the roosts or fly up into the rafters. I can't believe how those big delawares get up there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't get bumblefeet from hard lands but not much I can do about it.
