Utah!

Thanks. we are just trying to decide on what color to paint the coop. My 8 year old daughter wants pink, and my 4 year old son wants green. Thanks for the help on the chickens. Do they all look like girls? I would like an EE or 2. My problem is we dont come out to SLC or the valley often Its a 3 hour drive either direction. and im not sure when we are coming out next. I think near the end of June for are anniversary. Also they arent going up into the coop at night. My 8 year old has to climb in and put them up the ramp so we can close it at. Any ideas to get them to go up there? Also when is a good time to get them to go up?

so paint it pink and green

Disclaimer on these chicks: They can be Wheaten, Blue Wheaten or splash. They are all buff and no way to tell until their flights come in.

Splash! :)) If you look at them by now, they should have some darker colors coming into those wings if they are splash. Plus, the splash should have a lighter belly..well, like you said, you never know, but, I would rather have a girly girl looking one anyway..no matter what color. Do that magic dance..oh I would sooo love to see that!!

No idea who laid it and it is even more bizarre than the photo shows...

You said the naughty word.. Delewares~

I've had eggs like that before..either from a new pullet, or even an older girl will lay one once in a while..for who knows why!

Who can guess what kind of chicken this is?

Oh wow, very pretty all right..I haven't had one of these in my flock for a couple of years..may have to have one for next year.

Rainbow colors...wouldn't that be cute? We would defiantly have to see pictures when it's done being painted..well, we need to see pictures anyway!

Who's Anniversayr? Sasha and your hubby? Way to go..16 years...that's just great!

I am soo far behind..someone hurt their hand! I hope you are healing quickly.

You can't see it, but I'm weeping buckets of tears right now over the memory of my sweet little Delaware pullet. Already gone through five hankies.................What? Okay, would you believe that I had to eat a whole box of chocolates to soothe myself? No? Hmm, okay, how about if I just give you the big puppy eyes? Not sure what it would accomplish, but I figured I should make some effort here.
