Utah!

Yep, This is the one...I finally didn't know what to do with her, so I threw her in with the Old English and the Blue spash ameraucana. After a few days everything was fine. It was just the initial fighting that was hard to watch. Luckily it was not so bad that I felt the need to intervene. Now the ameraucana roost together. She is still a little flighty but not real bad.

Excellent. So the answer is to get me some OE

I need some spunky little squirts to hang with her. I thought for sure my Icee female would give her a whipping, but she seemed uncertain about what to do with a new, half-bald chick.

Ok, so, I sold all of my EE's. I now have Welsummers, because "that guy" hasn't called me back. I'm not waiting on him long this time Lisa.
I had Welies hatch from those real pretty eggs that I posted a while back that were as dark as a maran's egg. I am keeping one. I have more Welies that should hatch next week.
I have EE's that should hatch tomorrow, and who was it on here that was interested in Silkies. I have some of Catdances Silkies that are due to hatch tomorrow. Hoping to see pips in them by tonight. These are in my new bator, the EE's and the cantdance Silkies.
The other Welies are in with more Silkies, that I have bought before..same breeder, gorgeous Silkies. I have one of her blue splashes. Also, very few showgirls are making it, should hatch on Father's Day. I hope I get them to hatch, I want to keep another one..they are nice looking with some fethers on the lower neck, and with the muff. Called, muffed, bowtie showgirls.
I have not ordered more eggs! Yaaay!

You can break the egg addiction, Cynthia! Lol. Even if I have to come sit on you to keep you from ordering more, muahaha!

Blue, that bum says boy to me. His hackles are sure confusing, aren't they? They look just like the hackles on my gray EE girl.

Who would have thought chickens like to run through sprinklers. I have been waiting for 2 days for my cat to have kittens. No luck and I'm leaving for Seattle tomorrow night for a cat show. I decided to go spend time with the chickens. I built a pen with a divider for the two moms and babies but while I have the lid that comes off I didn't think to put doors on the ends so the mom and chicks could get out. I solved that by proping up one side on cinder blocks, I really enjoyed watching the moms teraching the babies the ways of the big world my yard. I also have another broody hen that I was trying to break so I put her in the yard and turned on the sprinklers by the fence. She was running in the sprinklers trying to get back into chicken run and the other chickens came by the fence and spread their wings like they were taking a shower. The moms and babies came to the edge of the sprinklers looking for bugs really cute. after an hour and half outside still no kittens so Its back outside to clean the coop

Here ya go Red..fishing at Lake Powel back in the day! The 70's was great fishing out there. We caught our large mouth bass quite often..using those rubber worms.

I had that long blonde hair clear into my 40's. Then I thought I was getting too old for long blonde hair when I got close to 50. Yep. :) I was in my 20's here. We went to Bullfrog a lot, rented a boat. I hear it's changed a lot.
