Animals are amazing how they heal. Is the vet homing the will self correct now Would love to see a picture of the casts

No self correction, but perhaps she may be able to learn how to live with her limited mobility. She was born crippled. The 1st vet refused to attempt treatment, hoping for self correction. When she started to do poorly at one month, 1st vet wanted to put her down. So I went to 2nd vet. For the past month, they have been correcting her. Here is her foot before:

Here is the 1st cast:

This was the most recent cast:

Here is her foot this afternoon:

Beautiful family

Hi Utah people, I have to get rid of some hens. I've been wanting to get a Bearded Dragon (a type of Lizard) since I was 8 but my mom is horrified of snakes and always thought that If I got a Lizard it would get out and walk around like a snake :p Weird I know but I finally convinced her when she saw one up close and saw how cute they are :) She let me buy a pair only if I get rid of some hens so won't have so many pets. She's letting me keep my few favorite hens. But the others have to go. And I'm posting them for sale on here because I know ALL of you love your chickens and won't eat them :)
I have:

A 1 1/2 year old Multi-Colored AMERAUCANA hen named Hestia that lays very nice BLUE eggs. She's quiet and is good around chicks :) (Make me an offer)
A Broody Splash LF Cochin hen. She just started setting but she's very easy to break and lays around 4-5 medium cream-pink eggs each week, and is a Fantastic mom. (Make me an offer)

I also have a yound Blue Splash Swedish duck. If anyone remembers when I posted duckling pictures in March-April, The lonely little blue duckling? This is him! He's a boy and is so cute. He's really quiet and doesn't bother my hens or my hen's chicks. He'll be full grown at the end of summer. Will make a great pet or an amazing breeder. (Make me an offer)

I also have a hen that was part of the first batch of chicks that I ever hatched by myself in my Little Giant bator. She's a mix between a Buff Orpington and a Buff Brahma X Silkie X Gamebird rooster. She's only 1 year old(Turned one last month) and has been broody twice! Right now she's caring for 3 chicks I got from Meyer Hatchery. One White Crested Black Polish, 1 White EE, and 1 Lavender...something...Not sure what she is. The chicks were sent as Rare Females and so far they do look like hens. The chicks hatched June 9th. I want this whole group to go together. The hen is named Julie and is very special to me, since she's part of the first chicks I EVER hatched on my own but I care more about my older hen and the few that Cynthia gave me :) (Make me an offer on this group)
I really want these guys to go to a good home. and they need to be gone ASAP! Please PM me if you are interested in any of them.
(I am in Northern Orem)

Sphinx, your polish does look bearded :) Cute little one!

Sundance, your trip looks so fun! Amazing the glacier pics. I want to go there now too! SO sorry about the broken foot and stolen cash, that is awful, glad you were still able to enjoy your trip. AND I love the boots also, my daughter has a pair just like that for drill team and I secretly plot to steal them and wear them when she is not home lol!

I am headed to Sasha's to pick up the polish babies. Yay! And trying to pawn my frizzle roo off on her. Feel free to take bets on my mad sales skills while I am headed over there lol! I vote she will take him. He is stinkin cute. Let me be clear, my prize if I win the bet will NOT be a rooster lol! I do have an empty bator.....let's see how long that lasts ( another bet is coming on.....)

Loved the pictures, Lisa! As a bizarre coincidence, I have a skull staff almost identical to the one that pirate has. LOL Good luck with your self control.

Darling babies Red and Sundance!

Lisa and Sundance ---
Thanks for posting the pictures of your trips. I don't get to travel much so it's fun to see other people's adventures.
Lisa - Your cuckoo polish is adorable! I wish I could have roosters here. Seeing him everytime I walked in to the backyard would surely bring a smile to my face.
Sundance - Hmmmmm...... speaking of chickens that make me smile ...........
