That might be me. I got Leghorn hens with my Cornish Cross meat birds last year. Now I have some Leghorn/Amer chickies growing. I think two are roos. One has a pea comb and light colored legs, but the other looks Leghorn. Two more I think are gonna be girls and they have blue legs. And some younger chickies. I was hoping for some blue eggs, after reading blue egg gene is dominant, but recently read something about the Leghorn shell that might suppress it. I have an EE that looks part Leghorn, and she lays blue. We'll see. Would be interested to know what eggs others are getting from this cross. And I have more chicks if someone wanted to help me experimentDidn't you say that you have your own leghorn crosses, because of the leghorns you got by accident that were supposed to be cornish x's?? Or am I thinking of someone else??
