Utah!

Wait, that isn't the ONLY color I got! I knew someone would guess the reg. colors. I do like the reg. colors. I actually haven't had the silver in a while. so..I will see if I can get pictures of the "other" colors.

This coloring looks like a SLW coloring Pretty

I've had buff color in my flock all right, but not laced like this.
You don't know how close I was to getting some Red Crested Reds too. Then I decided they were pretty much the color of red that I've had..and they were all red, so, I went with the buff. :)
Honestly though, I am so excited about those black crested..they are so unique. I hope I get a girl! One of each. But I understand you have to wait on them like Silkies? I lucked out on my Silkies. My white girl is also a girl..lol..like my blue splash. Cotton, is her name.

I LOVE that buff...I have never seen one laced like that. I feel so bad for them though....How can they see like that?
Of course it drives me crazy when I can't see an animals eyes....or my kids for that matter.

Whoa! Nice pick, Cynthia! And I am in love with that silver laced-looking one. Just cannot express how much I love B&W color combos

Sundance, how are your animals doing? Are the kitties okay? And I thought you said you had some sick chickies a little bit ago. At least, I think it was you. And then that broken rib of yours........ How's everyone doing at your place?

Kimmy, those bantams almost had me in trouble, too. I'm already over the limit I wanted, though, so bantams will have to wait for a while. In non-chicken math terms, I have 19 birds, not including the two turkeys. Four of them are my mom's. Five of mine are in Tooele, and a couple more may be re-homed or sent to freezer camp, since they're turning out to be boys. I really want to stick to 10 or less.

I just got back from taking my chickens to the fair. I am showing a Gold Laced Cochin hen, a black pullet cochin, a RIR hen all bantams my large fowl are my Turkin and my araucana. Judging is tomorrow at 900 AM If anyone goes to the fair stop by the small stock exhibit. I;ll be in and out. Hope to meet some of you. .

All the chickies are great except the one that Sphinx brought over today for me to babysit. She is hurt pretty bad but I hope I can get her back on her feet

CYnthia, what a FUN group of colors you are getting! Love the white with the black heads, and little black spots, very very cool! Can't wait to see the chickie pics :D

Kimmy, Cynthia, I love the picture of you two, it is so fun to meet everybody on here, and see faces with names. 99 cent chicks?? hands over eyes, hands over ears, lalalalalalala!! However after seeing those pretty polish pictures, those store chicks just don't compare....

Red, great luck to you on the 2nd interview! I am so excited it went well!

Well since everyone else is doing this, I got pictures of my Leghorn/EE, too. What do you think?

Not much beard on her.

The last one is a closeup of the black specks on her feathers.

Ok this post almost flew under my radar....but now you have our curiosity piqued, what toy would this be? My DH is always in the gun section drooling. I never lose him in that store because I know right where he will be after I spend my hour drooling over baby chicks.

Red she has a sweet little face. Is she super mellow? I love her little eyes, she just looks like a sweet baby. I would guess girl, but I have never had one of these (sheesh I need to get one, y'all have one!) Cannot wait to hear how the eggs go with this kind!

Nice looking little girl, looks a lot like mine! Mine is very sweet with all of the birds. She just goes about her way, ignored the big birds when they gave it a try at shooing her away. She just mingled right in real quick. I think Dalooras got the more beared and mufed ones. These may get more later on, like some of my EE's and Ameraucanas have.
