Utility Pigeon daily ration

I'll second that comment about easy to get. I've found maybe one person with utility pigeons in my area (have not contacted them yet as I have no coop built yet) so it's definitely dependent upon your location. I mostly plan on feeding the doves to my dogs as they are not that big and I'll raise quail and doves together saving the quail for myself.

Since you are in the midwestish you may have some luck sourcing from farmers. I have seen more than a few websites in the region that might work for you. I will try to find them once back to the computer (tablets can be a pain for posting stuff). They will still be more expensive than doves or homers though.

I've heard good things about Hubble lines, utility kings. Pure production birds. Only breeders I've seen on here n fb in Louisiana and Minnesota I think. Only kings found around here, were maybe half size of my white german racing homers, I had, at best.

It's definitely not as easy as you'd think to find em. I've looked around a lot online for breeders and clubs but they all seem to be out of state and I don't have time to travel yet for that. As for farmers I'll have to look around but I don't quite want to go door to door asking if they raise some utility pigeons. Price is not a problem as long as quality is good. I like focusing on long term value instead. And I only have a phone to work off of so I know your pain.

Thanks for the site! Hope those prices he has include shipping and are not just for the birds. If so then those are some great prices. Just hopefully a couple more weeks and I'll start on my coop and a couple months and I'll try and get some birds! If anyone has bought from this guy before would you leave a little feedback on your experience and quality of the birds?

I have not ordered from or had contact with him however his birds (on his website) are beautiful and his prices are reasonable.
