UUUUGH!! Freezing temps,Busted Eggs & Frostbit Combs!!! :(

I could not get out early enough this morning to save 3 eggs from bursting due to freezing temps! The girls insisted on laying super early this morning I guess

It just disgusts me to no end! I'll be so glad when the winter is OVER!!!!

Amen to that!!!!! In northen Ohio, I got another 5 inches of lake effect snow on top of the 10 inches we got about two weeks ago. It just won't go away. To make matters worse, we have had really cold temps to go along with the snow. I HATE WINTER. I AM SICK OF SHOVELING.

My chooks are less than amused with the evening ritual of A&D ointment on their combs to prevent frostbite. A few I can't get my hands on so they are showing signs of it
