I have some La Fleche. I need to decide on what 2 cockerals I am keeping. They are developing nicely and have awesome combs. Is there a preference if the combs go backward or outward? I will try to get pics in a few days, but am needing to downsize and would love any info that anyone has about this type of comb. Thanks!

If you look at the pic on feathersite, the first one bred by Mr Barnes(which is where my birds came from), the comb goes *backward*. I have some that do that but so that seem to go out more to the side. Here is the feathersite link

It should like the the APA Standard's picture, so they should curl up. But consider body type first! The comb is only a few points, the body is MANY.

hmm, maybe I should take a pic to get them critiqued? They are pretty new to me so I could definitely use some help

. They are 5 months old, is that old enough to tell which are worth keeping?
