Vaagen softwood shavings?

Hey all,
Has anyone ever used Vaagen softwood wood shavings? They're pretty fine but I cant tell what is in it. My mother in law doesnt know anything about chickens and I made the mistake of asking her to watch them for a week and she bought these shavings and I cant find anything about what is in them. Vaagen specializes in species including cedar and I would love not to have my birds poisoned.

Just switch out the shavings, they'll be fine.

I have used them for at least a decade. They are pine shavings from all the pine being made into usable lumber like 2x4's.

Okay that's good to know! I was trying to find on their website what it was but couldn't find anything. The bag also doesnt indicate what it is. If it was Pine I didnt want to throw it out.

I did call to double triple check and was able to verify that they do not contain any cedar.
