Dear BYC

I was on mypetchicken and I noticed they give you the option to have some day old baby chicks Vaccinated but not all.

Why would they offer to Vaccinate some and not all?

Is it worth it to have them vaccinate some and not all or should we do the vaccinations on all?

P.S. How is mypetchicken for day old chicks and overall service?

Cheers

I think that not having the vaccination option for all of the chicks is a computer glitch. When I called to order a breed that did not give the vaccination option, they said that I could have the chicks vaccinated.
I haven't gotten my chicks yet (only 14 days to go!), but so far their customer service has been top-notch.

I'm getting Australorps, Andalusians, Buckeyes, Cuckoo Marans, Barred Rocks and Delawares (2 of each). A friend caught 'chicken fever' from me, so I added two EE's and a Lakenvelder to my order that she is going to take. The Lakenvelder (which is a full sized bird) was one that didn't give the option of having it vaccinated on the website.
