Things you wish you could say

Many many years ago - my mother sat each of her children down once they got a job. Then she went through the family expenses and showed said child how much a household cost to live. Then told said child what they would be paying in board if they stayed.
It worked - we all payed our way.
Then applied the same sensible explaination to our own children.
(this is not something I want to say - it is our family way of doing things)

Thats so sad Im so sorry its entirely awful to lose our babies to foxes! We have mostly had raccoons and weasles get ours

I wish I could say I wasn’t headed out to worm 16 goats. They’re my moms, after they’re wormed I told her we’re selling them all but four. She can have four polled goats to eat weeds and that’s it. She can’t get a goat out of the fence anymore if it’s stuck and I work long hours and can’t always be there. It sucks but it’s just too much stress for me and I won’t have her falling down outside trying to tend a bunch of goats.
