When I say I need 10 days notice or more - it is not to inconvenience you - it is so I can blinking well organise enough helpers.
But I politely only say the 1st and last bits and miss out the middle bit.

In real life, about half your paycheck would go to living expenses like rent and groceries. A hundred dollars a week out of what you're earning now is pocket change. If you think you could do better elsewhere, you know where the door is.
