I am new to the great world of chicken keeping, so excuse me if this question seems ignorant!
I have heard people mentioning that their chickens are vaccinated for things i can neither remember nor pronounce
and I am pretty sure my chickens aren't vaccinated--should they be? and if so, for what? and where?! would a local ordinary vet do fine?
Thanks for any suggestions!

If you have a small backyard flock, there is no reason to vaccinate. The only time it might be worth it is when adding chicks into an environment that has had adult birds for more than two years. Another exception would be if you were neighbors with a large poultry operation
