Vaccinating for mareks

i think some of my birds died of mareks. Now I need new chicks. I can't find anyone to purchase a small qty already vaccinated so my question: can I buy them and vaccinate myself. I will keep them in a brooder until they are bigger so I believe they won't be exposed.
