So after extensive thinking, i have decided to vaccinate all the chicks.
I ordered the chicken pox and different strains of new castle and bronchitis; i am looking for the laryngotracheitis and encephalomyelitis, but what i wanted to ask is,

can i vaccinate a chick that is 2-3 weeks old for marek's disease? i think it's unlikely that they have been exposed to it, but i can't find anywhere whether it's harmful to them to do it later?

any thoughts?

thanks

After having my flock infected by Marek's, I still have no idea where it came from, I did a lot of research on Marek's and the vaccine. Even though it is better if it is given at 1 day old, it can still be given at any age without any complications. Here is what I am planning on doing from here on...

Purchase of vaccinate day olds
Revaccinate at 3 - 6 weeks
Booster on yearly intervals.

Many European countries are using this regimen and I have decided that is what I'm going to do to try and eradicate this horrible disease!!!

Thanks for the link, i had read it before, it's very good.

Leadwolf, thanks for the reply, exactly what i needed to know. I ordered the vaccine....I am going to vaccinate for everything i can!
