Vaccinations?

When you order chicks from a hatchery like Murry Mcmurry are the chicks vaccinated against diseasees such as coccis? Mine have been on medicated starter mash but I am now switching them to non-medicated crumbles. They are 6 weeks and have been kept in my garage but it is time to put them outside. It is in the low 70's here during day and low-mid 40's at night

When you are moving them on the ground is not the best time to switch to nonmedicated, IMO. It won't hurt to feed crumbles a while longer, if that's what you can get that is medicated. Cocci live in the soil. Some areas have a lot, some little.

Some hatcheries vaccinate and some don't. Murray McMurray does offer both Marek's and coccidiosis vaccines, but unless you specified to vaccinate yours, they were not. It does cost a little more.
