vacuum sealing chickens with an 11" roll

I saw a FOODSAVER BagVac Kit on Craigslist last night. The largest roll it uses is an 11" roll. Does anyone have experience with bagging chickens with an 11" roll? I know there have been recent threads about vacuum sealing chickens and apologize in advance if this specific question was covered in one of those.

If I recall correctly, the answer is yes it will work.

I guess it all depends on the size of the chicken... my first batch dressed out at 7lbs... I don't think I am squeezing their chunky butts into the bags! lol

I would however thing a 5lber would go in just fine!

I smoke a lot of 4-5 pound chickens and then vacuum seal. The 11" bag works fine.
