My hens have a heavy load of worms (I am seeing roundworms in their excrement).
I am about to treat with Valbazen, and would like to know if the "repeat in 10 days" protocol is flexible. Due to constraints with work and darkness, I have 3 options:
A. Dose now, and again in 8 days.
B. Dose now and again in 13 days.
C. Postpone dosing another week, and then redose in exactly 10 days (I'll have a vacation).
I don't know anything about the life cycle of roundworms, so I am unsure if the precise timing of the second dose is really very important. If it is, I'll have to wait another week, if not, I'd like to get them started.
I appreciate any advice or knowledge on this!
