I lost this sweet four month old three years ago on my birthday morning, her name was Hera, an EE mixed pullet we bred, and truly one of a kind. As we have never had another one like her. The song that inspired this is called “Holes in the Floor of Heaven” by Steve Wariner.

I sketched and colored this on Procreate (a digital sketchbook).
