I just realized I joined the swap and am doing the hatch but had not joined THIS thread!! LOL HI EVERYONE!!

This hatch is going to be a mixed bag for me. I decided to experiment with some Trader Joe eggs & the local health food store, so I'm not really expecting a very good hatch rate. I also decided to save any EE & campine eggs I get for the ten days before the set time. I only have one of each laying so that seriously cuts down on the number. I figured that ten days was the oldest I wanted to try, once again cutting back on my hatch rate.

Anyway, I will admit to being a little OCD, but I swear I have just been saving these in my turner in the order they were laid (but I do quite like the checkerboard pattern).

Yeah, I began to worry about that. Perhaps I should change it to a rooster and hen photo- just a beautiful photo of your rooster and a hen or two. What do the rest of you think? I'm open to suggestions.

If I can figure how to transfer and load it I have a great phone video of my 8" tall(at his tail tips) self blue OEGB doing the dance for my huge RIRs...he loves him some big ladies!!LOL

Of course that was 4 months ago when I got him and right after the video I stuck big red in with him...she whooped his butt BAD!! He still dances for her through the wire

Lovely looking roo in that eBay ad, too bad the owner labeled him as something he is not. We sell all of our EE eggs at $1.00 each for hatching.

We have call ducks, Sebastopol geese, and various chickens due for Valentines day.

Sorry I have been absent. I usually post on BYC from my phone, but my phone doesn't like the new BYC. I did down load Opera Mini but that doesn't always let me post. I read everything though.

My phone hates it too. I don't even bother when I am not at a computer. I get too frustrated!
