I read great reviews from people ordering chicks from Valley Farms Hatchery. I saw they started shipping fertilized eggs so I thought I would order some and get the whole experience.

So this morning I got a shipping notification, and replied asking if there was a tracking number so I could know what day to expect them. I was pretty much told to check back later and see if the tracking number was there, and that it didn’t matter anyway, they would pretty much show up whenever they showed up.

I get tracking numbers can be unreliable at times, but I’m still more than a little miffed.

Has anyone else ordered fertilized eggs from them? Please tell me you had a good experience!

What kind of legit company goes 'meh' about the tracking info? Especially when we're talking time sensitive things too like chicken eggs! Sounds like a shady company to me.

@Shamo Hybrid they do offer tracking per request. I can only speculate on her experience, keep in mind there are 2 sides to every story. Tracking was provided later the same day. The attitude on the phonebi highly doubt was completely one sided just based on this post. This post still comes up in searches and she didnt take it down even though she goes on to discuss her coop and incubating. How would you feel if you were a hatchery?
