Valley Quail pipping on small end of egg

The chick that is looking to the side needs some vitamins. Usually a crooked neck is either a vitamin deficiency, sitting in a bad position in the egg, or genetic. If you have any vitamins you can put in the water, it would help it greatly. B vitamins, E and selenium and others will help.

As for the pipping chick at the wrong end...he is no doubt disoriented because of his position. Give him some time. He may just make it out ok. Keep us posted!

He's out! I opened the hole a little and he pushed out. His feet just need to open and then hes perfect.
