I would think that cross would result in a dual purpose bird that would lay well and have enough size to be used for meat as well. I have had some hens of all of those breeds in the past though never crossed them.

I'm crossing Bielefelder with BO, Australorp, & RIR. Then prob cross from those mixes. I gotta guy who'll buy all my extras as often as I have them so I don't have to worry about unwanted roos and such.
I have a Beilefelder roo in with my laying flock consisting of a golden laced Wyandotte, Naked Neck, Buff Cochin, Easter Egger and Black Copper Maran. I usually always have one try to go broody, I'm sure there would be some interesting babies out of that menagerie lol
Absolutely, cross those birds! IMO, back yard mix birds make exceptional layers. Their hybrid vigor makes them strong and healthy. Breeding the best of your best will result in strong animals that produce well, and are well acclimated to your climate and your pathogens.
