VAUSE UPDATE and questions!!!

So vause has officially laid her first egg! Is it possible to just have a Muscovy with no caruncles? Also, how often do they lay?

Sure looks like a Muscovy egg.

I don't know she has the outline but to me she looks like a Muscovy, What is her voice like does she trill?

She doesn’t quack, she does kind of a trill noise and wags her tail when she’s happy or i’m talking to her. When i have my dog in my lap and she gets jealous she becomes more vocal but it’s still not a quack, it’s more of a louder trill.

I don't know that much about mules and hinnies but to me Vause looks scovy.

Well you can eat them, bake with them or collect and give away.

Are you giving her layer or providing Oyster shell for her?

I found some pictures of moulards.. These have some red around the bill but no caruncles.

She definitely looks like a Scovy and acts like one too! We have a pond in town with Scovies and they all look just like her but with caruncles.

Maybe she is a Moulard she is a beautiful one if she is.

I haven't seen that many pics of Moulards it's very interesting.

her tail and wings are MUCH longer than those pictured though.. hm.. i guess we’re all stumped!
