I've heard that chickens eat almost anything. I have a backyard full of a naturally growing plant here in Southern Colorado, and found out, quite by accident, that our chickens love them. In fact one got out of her run in an attempt to get to them. So, I gather them up each morning and scatter them in the run. Also, if I need them to vacate the area, I can toss a handfull of plants where I want them to go and they all make a bee-line to the area. Anyone have this?
