Vegies in beak size bits

    My family and friends laugh at me that I chop up my vegie and fruit scraps into beak size tidbits. [​IMG]
    My ex mother in law used to do that as she said she had much less food getting wasted that way.
    Since getting my girls I have found that things they mightnt relish, get eaten when I chop it all up.
    Maybe the girls are too fussy.[​IMG]

    I agree with your ex MIL... even with tomatoes, which are pretty soft, I see a lot wasted if I don't cut them up for the girls; they do the slinging about thing with bigger chunks, but often end up leaving them after the soft "guts" are gone. Cantaloupe, watermelon, and pumpkin are really the only things I don't cut up that they'll work through till they're cleaned out. [​IMG]
