This is my first time incubating. I just candled and saw veins in the eggs... good. I'm on day 11 and one of the eggs seems to have the veins pulsing and sliding around? Kinda creeped me out.... The others didn't seem to have this going on inside...

Is this normal? Good? Bad? Disturbing to anyone besides me??

I couldn't really see a peanut in there anywhere... just veins all over, a clear patch at the bottom and the air sac at the top. So just because I can't see a peanut rolling around, doesn't mean that it's not in there hiding...?!?!??!

Gotta remember there is blood "pulsing" thru those veins, feeding blood to the embryo. I think it would be somewhat common to see this. So long as you have good red veins, no blood rings, on Day 11, sounds like you are doing well. I just hatched 18 BBS rocks and Barred rocks and they were moving around like crazy on Day 10. Best of luck.....you will be joining CA (chickens anonomous) like the rest of us in no time. This hatching stuff is sooooo addictive. Sending hatching vibes your way....
