Vent covered in feces

I am new to raising chickens and one of my hen's vent is just covered in poo. It looks really gross and I can't find anything in the books that I have read that talks about this problem. Is there something wrong with her and should I be doing something? We have been keeping the coop clean and none of the other hens are like that? Please help!

I believe it's called pasty butt.....search that and you should come up with some good information on cleaning the little behind

If it is a hen, it's the older version of pasty but, trim/ wash off the poo and trim down the feathers to prevent it again.

When you wash her bum, make sure that she's dried off completely before you put her back outside so she doesn't get chilled.
You can also put a tiny bit of oil on the feathers, if you don't want to trim them.
