I came on here for advice as there is a lack of vets in my tiny country that specialise in poultry!
So i have a lovely little flock with a Sussex hen that unfortunately was a victim of cannibalism (vent pecking). The vent was glued and I gave her anitbiotics (Baytril) for 10 days! Since then the has this horrible smelling discharge non stop...I thought of Vent gleet so been putting Canesten twice a day under and aeound vent, some probiotics and yoghurt...after the cream application it does look a bit clearer but the next morning everything is covered in white discharge again! What could it be?
