So I have a hen that I believe has vent gleet. The whole flock had been on rooster booster vitamins/electrolytes for a few days last week due to the sudden heat wave. I put some ACV in the water because I read that it can help. But what else can I do? She makes a weird noise several times while trying to go to the bathroom. Sometimes she goes and sometimes not. Now that the heat is gone it’s chilly and rainy.

Edited to add pics.

What makes you think it's Vent Gleet? Try searching it in the forum for the symptoms to match up with yours.

Got pictures of her vent & poop?
Is her vent area messed?
Is her poop soft? Runny?
How old is she?
Is she laying?
When was the last time she laid?
What are you feeding?

Because it smells sour, she has a nasty looking bum. I can try to get pics tomorrow afternoon. She’s about a year old, could be laying idk she’s a silkie so not the most productive birds. They get a 20% chick starter since most are raising chicks.
