I was just looking for opinions on “post”-vent gleet treatment. Our BCM is over the hill when it comes to the worst of it I believe. Her poop is returning to normal and we’re left with a bit of discharge, but nothing that’s clumping up her feathers anymore. She has been in her isolation crate (right outside the coop door, she can see everyone still) for almost 2 weeks now. Should I wait until zero discharge to put her back in with everyone or would it be ok to put her back in and just continue her nightly warm wipe and cream?

Here’s a picture from tonight. Kind of a hard thing to get a good angle on.. The glove is just above her vent. You can tell it’s still dischargy, but looks night and day to what it was when we discovered it. Would also be happy to hear any other treatments people have had good results with to get this cleared up for her. We’ve been doing warm compresses and nightly cleans (too cold to do full soaks, but we were able to do one on the first day and today as well) and then canesten and a tbsp of greek yogurt a day. 7F9348D3-5063-4BBB-91A1-3D7D61C2489B.jpeg
