I started building my new coop and i need some help with the vents. The vents will be cut 14”x4” out of the plywood with chicken wire over it. For this wall, does this seem like a correct spot to put it (the little rectangle up top)

Too small. Make it bigger. I'd run the full length of that side and the side opposite it.
And by "chicken wire" you mean 1/2" hardware cloth, correct?
When you frame the roof, make sure you install an overhang all the way around. I'd go at least 12".

Yes we will have overhangs all around the roof. And I was going to make two of the 14”x4” on the back wall also.
But i can make it bigger. And yes 1/2 hardware cloth
I have already bought the wood for the roof and cut it unfortunately for length wise. I can’t remember for the life of me how big i was going to make it.

I could always get some more wood and work with what i have but i get really confused with how to construct over hangs and roofs lol. Is there a reason why i should make them so long?

Edit: i realized when thinking about it, we bought 8 foot 2x4s so i would have enough to make that 12” overhang front and back but the side over hangs aren’t going to be that big only about 4 inches.

Agreed. That's not even half a square foot.

Make a top-hinged window all the way across. That way you can prop it open a little or a lot depending on the current window conditions.

Here's an article on making a good prop: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/window-support-for-top-hinged-windows.74810/
Already added the windows and made the windows so i can’t make the windows any bigger. They will be top hinged windows anyway. How big should i make the vents then?

Need to see more of coop.
What are the plans for a roof?
I always suggest large(12-18") roof overhangs with fascia and HC on soffit areas.
It’s not finished but it’s a 8’x6’ coop. We have a top hinged window on every side and we didn’t start the roof yet
