Vent holes on incubator

Perusing through learning center and saw you are supposed to remove red vent hole covers after day 10?? We are on day 22 and they are still on!!! =:-0

Could be a problem. The embryos need to breathe.

Ok I looked at incubator instructions and it says to remove one vent cover when they start to hatch, both after all hatch?

I have an aquarium air pump that I pump air into my homemade cabinet and hatcher.

It's always best to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

I threw my vent covers away after joining this forum.

Same here, I run all my vents open all the time. No forgetting to take them out.
