When this little bobwhite quail was around a week old he got pasty butt pretty bad and was completly blocked befor I got it off of him I was as carefull as I could be but he still got a little bit of an ouchie on his bum I washed him up and tried to keep him as clean as I could I had to help him make the first poop as it was huge from being backed up in there for however long it was. Its been almost 4 weeks I think (I am really bad with time frames) and he is pooping on his own and eating and drinking but he smells bad and he always has yucky stuff on his bum feathers and his vent dosnt look right . I have tried everything I can think of to help but IM not shure im doing the right stuff Can someone please tell me whats wrong with it and if there is anything I can do to make it better I feel bad for the little guy.
I washed his bottom as his tail feathers and butt fuzz has crusty stuff on them
Im glad he can poop but why does it look like that
And it leaks clear liquid and smells yucky
