VENT Tired of drop offs! (Pictures of the cats added)

My co-workers who live out in the county have all manner of dumped dogs and cats. My kitty was found as tiny kitten abandoned by it's mom with his two brothers, by another co-worker. He expresses his hatred of dumpers in his own way...

Too cute. I am falling in love with the gray one. She helps me type. The orange one is a little too adventurous for me, personally.

How sad is that.
You know the fluffy one looks like a chocolate persian mix.
I live right down the road from a cat shelter and they get dump offs all the time. Our cat Roscoe who we got from there is a former stray.
Hope you can find a no kill shelter. go to www.petfinder.org and see if there is a rescue that will take them . THey can get them fixed before they deliver most of the time.
You can clean out their eyes with camomille tea.

I don't want to abort kitties, unless it is jeopardizing the mother cats health. I do plan to spay if I keep a cat, or if I don't find homes soon. Right now I just want them to get healthy. Someone is interested in the black one, see first page, but we are trying to decide if she's prego

Awww, I'm glad you found them.. they are very pretty

Orange females are pretty uncommon too, you probably won't have much trouble finding a home for her.

Oh my! That black calico looks so much like my old Fluffy girl (RIP baby). If you were closer I'd take one of them in a heart beat.

Sadly this is the way we got our cat (cat from he#@) 6 yrs ago. One of our neighbours on another street found out I was fostering 2 puppies for a friend who runs a rescue. Well, puppies left and the house went back to normal, well almost normal - 2 yr old male dog moping around the house was not normal.

Anyway, dd went to go outside to play and when she opened the door to the front porch (screened in) here was this little grey thing curled up at the door shivering (it was warm out but he was so scared). Of course, how do you say no to a 5 yr old who is cuddling this grey hairball so Spazz has been with us ever since.

They are on craigslist. I hope they find good homes. They were good through the night. I'm keeping the blue tort. I just hope she isn't pregnant, since she is a female. She's not fat though. The black/chocolate one slept on the laptop, the orange one on the dresser and the other with me. I woke up with scratches, so I'm guessing she got bored and wanted to play LOL.

That REALLY pisses me off. I wont even get into how much that makes me mad.

1. I hate it when people dump stuff off in my neighbor hood. I am rural and it happens all the time. I wont even get into why its happening. Yall wouldnt like me anymore (ifin yall do)

2. It is a crying shame when people drop animals off. Man up and exercise some responsible options like taking it to the pound so that they can be adopted or put down. Either way they wont be running the streets and getting pregnant and making more animals or biting people or people shooting at them or getting run over by cars while in the street looking for food. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

On the plus side, I have two dogs that were drop offs and love them both.

Dropping off dogs seems to be a sport in the country. Seeing a child playing in the yard is a real incentive. We have a wonderful neighbor and he never neuters his dogs or cats. I doubt that he gives them more than a shot for rabies and yet he seems to like them. He has taken in so many unwanted pets from people over the years. College students often abandon pets when they leave for the summer. People's attitude toward pets are sometimes hard to understand.

Look at the black girls nipples, if they are pink and even slightly enlarged she is pregnant. Queen cats will "pink up" as a sign of pregnancy at 10 days after conception.
I would take that orange tabby in a heartbeat, orange females are RARE! Too bad you're not closer.
