Vent trimming silkies

Do any of the silkie breeders on this forum vent trim your breeders ? For those that do not vent trim, what is your fertility rate?

I have started vent trimming my breeders. The girls are laying and the boys are dancing, so I was told by many top breeders that it makes it easier for them to breed when they are trimmed.....After I trimmed, I noticed that they seemed to be getting the hang of it a little better.......
