Our chicks are 2 weeks old and in a cage in the unfinished part of our basement under a heat lamp. How important is ventilation at this stage? It is in a room that doesn't have an open-able window. It is not stuffy in there. Is it better to have circulating air? Would the attached garage be a better place? It is colder in there, but the heat lamp would take care of that. Do the chicks care?

Thank you,

How many chicks do you have, and how big is the room they're confined in?

The room is a basement room, about 10' x 20', with a furnace and shelves in it. There is a window above the table where their condo is. We have 6 chicks.
