Ventilation fan

If you put a fan into a chicken coop be sure to get one that's rated for barn use in order to prevent fires.

An indoor-type fan with an unsealed motor will collect dust from the bedding and the feather dander. If you're lucky it will only ruin the fan. If you're unlucky it will catch fire. :(

@aart has a way of mounting a box fan to blow in, but it would still have to be protected from any possible rain/snow.

IMO, well-designed passive ventilation is superior to using a fan because it still works when the power goes out -- which often happens on blistering hot afternoons and, in my area, after tropical storms have brought in hot, humid air.
