Venting I guess...

Okay.. so I worked with my dogs and for more than a month now I could let the chickens out and not worry about the dogs. They would just walk around with the chickens like they are friends. Well today I found one injured and one dead. Not even small ones!! I was just sick and depressed about it. I was so happy to finally be able to let my chickens free range during the day and now this!!!!

My heart is just broken

No.. but it looked like a dog had it by its neck and shook it. cause the neck was broken

i am sorry for your loss. if you still have the body put it in your yard with the dogs and see what they do.too bad you cant hook something up to the chicken that would give the dogs a little shock. not to hurt but to know not to mess with them
