Hello Vermonters! We were wondering about the poultry swap for June 19th. We have a few birds that we wanted to bring along. Does anyone have information about the time and the address? Thanks!

the swap is tomorrow the 19th, fathers day. I had put the 20th before which is incorrect. like I said though it still runs from 10-2 anyone is welcome. best way to transport your birds is in a secure cage of course, dog and cat carriers work well. wire cages do well is showing the birds off. There are a lot of impulsive buyers at the swaps so I am sure there will be some interest in anything that shows up. We will also have a chinese chicken raffle if anyone is wanting to donate/off load some birds, proceeds go to the youth of the club. hope to see you all there with lots of birds

Hi am wondering when the next swap is. I have had the bad luck that 5 of my 6 silkies appear to be males and I am looking to swap out at least a couple for more females.

According to there news letter its Sept. 25 at the Lamoille Fair Grounds. They run about 10am to 2:00pm
I went once and it was a very good swap. Lots of chickens and ducks ect.I might go again this year even though
I'ts a 5 hr ride for me one way.

Thank you for getting back to me. I have 6 silkies 5 roosters and my hen just started laying two days ago. I have to get rid of the roosters for the hens sake! I thought the swap would be good because then I could get some companion hens for her.

I've searched the web some looking to see if Vermont has one of those minimum number of chicks sales regulations. Can't find any. Can you sell any quantity of chicks in Vermont?

It's 12 here in NH which I think is silly.
