Can you post a picture please?I have a cuyoga duck that recently started laying and the yolks are consistently very dark, like they've been injected with ink. The yolks are consistently like this, the eggs are fresh and she's free ranged. Anyone else ever see this before?
Duh, that would make sense! I'll take one of the next egg i find. Can you post a picture please?
She is free range during the day, as are the other 6 girls but only this one has the dark yolks. I'm out of answers, but I post a Pic when I get the next one. Thanks!Yolk color is often affected by the food that is consumed. Post a picture. Nothing in your description sounds out of the ordinary.
Do they get any real duck food? She is free range during the day, as are the other 6 girls but only this one has the dark yolks. I'm out of answers, but I post a Pic when I get the next one. Thanks!
