Very lethargic chicken-advice please!?

I am sorry that she not improving, some times chickens problems are a mistery and stay that way. It's a sad way to join BYC but I say welcome anyway. Maybe try to just dribble the water on the side of her beak, she'll get it into her mouth if she wants it. How are the rest acting?

I was sure she was a goner this morning, she's feels like she lost 10 pounds overnight, and she wasn't big to start with. But, she was slightly more responsive earlier, so I made her drink a little electrolyte and mixed a little dry feed in some yogurt. I'm wondering if this is an egg laying problem? The others are happy and seem healthy enough although one my Barred Rock's has a bare spot on her bum . Is that normal for molting or is she getting too much abuse from the other hens? Thank you for the welcome, I'm happy to be here

she could be being picked on by the others, usually the roos tear up the back and heads might want to put some antibiotic salve on her bottom and watch to see if it's a pecking problem. how old are your hens? Happy to hear she's a little perky hopefully this will be a turn around keep us posted

I've noticed the larger Barred Rock pecking at her some. Her bum isn't as red today, although it's still bald. Pretty funny looking actually, as long as she isn't being made miserable of course. I'm sorry to say that my black sexlinked died last night. None of the others have exhibited any symptoms and she got sick just over a week ago, so I'm thinking of discontinuing antibiotics. But, thank you to everyone who offered advice and concern.

As to ages: The rooster is a mutt I'm still trying to find out what he is

, he and the top hen (I think she is a Rhode Red/White) are about 7-8 months (a friend hatched them this past spring). The Barred Rocks were a gift, and I am guessing they are about 2 or 3 years old.
