Hi all,
This morning I found one of my hens laying the their run area and she didn't get up to come over and get treats. She seemed a bit out of it, so I went in. All the chickens ran by her and she still didn't move. I picked her up, and she felt very limp in a tired way as if she didn't care at all I was picking her up.

I put her down and she just kind of sank, as if no energy what so ever. I brought her into the open yard area, and she did the same thing and started even closing her eyes like she was going to sleep. I looked in her beak/mouth and didn't see anything concerning. Not sure what else to check?
She doesn't look bad otherwise?

They were all fine yesterday. Eating grass, blueberries and worms. I don't use any chemicals at all in the backyard and I washed the blueberries first.

Here are some pictures. My only guess is egg bound but these are my first chickens ever and they were hatched last July.

Thank you
:( Michelle

I left for an appointment, got the stuff to try for the crop, and by the time I got back home (maybe 2.5 hours) she was dead.

All my other chickens seem fine, so should I be concerned at all about anything or?

They’re all the same age, will be one year in July.
